Barcelona empieza por Bar: la iniciativa del Gremi de Restauració para dinamizar la hostelería barcelonesa a través de Instagram

INSTAGRAM PARA RESTAURANTES

¿Alguna vez te habías fijado en eso? ¿En que Barcelona… empieza por Bar? Será por eso que en la Condal hay casi 8.000 bares y restaurantes (según el registro municipal), que se concentran sobre todo entre el Raval y la Vila de Gràcia. Para que te hagas una idea: en el Gótic, tocamos a un bar por cada 67 personas.

Nuestra restauración es un potente motor económico y de desarrollo del que podemos (y debemos) estar orgullosos. Ya te hablaba de esto en mi artículo Enamorarse del turismo de negocios, de nuevo.

De lo que quiero hablarte hoy es de una iniciativa del Gremi de Restauració de Barcelona, presidido por mi querido Pere Chias, una estupenda idea que trata precisamente de esto: de enamorarnos de nuestra restauración, de estar orgullosos de ella y de hacer ciudad entre todos, aprovechando las Redes Sociales (y, en concreto, una red social tan foodie como Instagram) y las nuevas tecnologías.

La campaña Barcelona comença per “bar” / Barcelona empieza por “bar” es una campaña centrada en Instagram para poner en valor y generar empatía con los bares y restaurantes de la ciudad de Barcelona, los lugares “donde vamos a saciar nuestra hambre o nuestra sed, a vivir y compartir, a dejarnos servir” explican desde el Gremi.

Son “espacios de nuestra vida que queremos enaltecer mediante fotos y mensajes. De una tapa, de un detalle, de una situación, de una sonrisa”. Así, cualquier imagen tomada en un bar o restaurante de la ciudad y subida a Instagram utilizando el hashtag #BarcelonaEmpiezaporBar o #BarcelonaComençaperBar (se puede participar en los dos idiomas) con un pequeño texto que explique el por qué de la misma, entrará en el concurso de una cena para dos personas en uno de los muchos restaurantes que se han sumado a la campaña “para hacer ciudad”.

Querido lector que eres restaurador, pero también cliente de otros establecimientos… participa en esta iniciativa subiendo tus fotos u ofrece tu restaurante para que pueda ser el “premio”.

Cómo ser un Instagramer de pro (y no morir en el intento)

Instagram es la red por excelencia de la comida y, por tanto, de los restaurantes. Aquí te dejo CINCO consejos para que mejores la presencia de tu negocio y te conviertas en un auténtico instagramer (más allá de tu número de followers).

  • Cuida el perfil de tu restaurante o bar. Recuerda que debe reflejar la filosofía y valores de tu establecimiento, tener aspecto profesional y mostrar la información que quieres dar sobre tu negocio (sobre todo la útil y de contacto).
  • Publica siempre fotos de gran calidad. Procura que sean originales, que reflejen el espíritu del restaurante y el trabajo del día a día y huye de las fotos preparadas o que parezcan sacadas de un banco de imágenes. Muestra lo que tienes, de la mejor manera posible.
  • Aprende a usar los hashtags y complementa con ellos tus publicaciones. Crea uno o dos hashtags propios que uses en todas tus publicaciones y te sirvan de baremo para medir el alcance. Aprovecha otros hashtags de moda en el momento (y que vayan con tu negocio), hashtags que tengan que ver con tu localización, con el tipo de cocina, con una fecha especial…
  • Interactúa. Instagram es una Red Social. Y social significa interactuar con el resto de usuarios. Sigue a quienes te interesen y cuyos perfiles te gusten, responde comentarios, regala likes y publicaciones en las cuentas de los demás… Recuerda que, con el nuevo algoritmo de instagram, la interacción con los usuarios prima más que nunca a la hora de que vean tus publicaciones en su timeline.
  • Usa Instagram Stories y hazlo periódicamente. Es una buena manera de ganar visibilidad. Adapta los Stories a tu actividad y ten en cuenta que, cuanto más constante seas, antes aparecerás en el timeline de tus seguidores y en la historia de los hashtags que uses en tus stories.

Los consejos están muy bien porque son muy útiles, pero nada como ver ejemplos prácticos de qué hacen y cómo lo hacen quienes cortan de verdad el bacalao en Instagram, a nivel nacional e internacional. Prepárate para seguir a unos cuantos restaurantes, chefs e influencers que te ayudarán a comprender Instagram, su funcionamiento y posibilidades desde otra perspectiva.

Con más de medio millón de seguidores (si tenemos en cuenta los números de su perfil personal @dabizdiverxo, y los de sus restaurantes @streetxo_madrid y @streetxolondon), Dabiz Muñoz es – como muy bien apunta Sergio Muñoz en mi página de Facebook – el Rey patrio de Instagram, aunque no aparezca entre los más seguidos de las listas que he consultado para este artículo, como la de Antevenio que ves a continuación.

Si me lees habitualmente y me sigues en RRSS, ya sabes que soy fan (muy fan) de Dabiz, de su cocina, de su forma de hacer las cosas, de su sinceridad, de todo lo que ha conseguido. Es un referente a todos los niveles. También en cuanto al uso de las redes sociales y de instagram. Así que, síguelo de cerca porque merece mucho la pena.

Como dice el director general del Gremi, Roger Pallarols: “El bar, el restaurante, no es sólo aquel lugar donde vamos a comer y a beber. Son espacios de encuentro donde compartir, consejeros en momentos, confidentes en otros. Pueden convertirse en el buzón adecuado cuando no estás en casa o en el canguro por aquella hora vespertina en la que tienes que ausentarte. Sus propietarios son personas como nosotros, que sólo quieren ganarse la vida ofreciendo un servicio. Son empresarios que dan trabajo, que cumplen con normas muy restrictivas, que, en su mayoría, hablan con los vecinos para buscar la mejor convivencia”.

“Porque son nuestros, porque hablan nuestro idioma y porque sin ellos la vida no sería igual, gritémoslo: queremos a los bares y restaurantes de la ciudad. Nos sentimos orgullosos de ellos, en general y en particular, y nos ponemos en su piel. Por eso, creemos entre todos un relato de las bondades de la restauración a la ciudad”
